Get Ready for N-Gage First Access!!!!!!

I’ve just found some great news over at dedicated Ngage blog, it is finally confirmed that they are rolling out N•Gage platform next week!!!The bad news is that platform will be exclusively available for Nokia N81 8GB and Nokia N81 phones only and progressively available for the Nokia N73 and then for the rest of the compatible devices as the my friend Marty predicted in his article released few days ago. Quite strange move is you ask me and extremely annoying at the same time, especially for those entire fanatics ‘Gage fans that lacks necessary hardware. It seems that Nokia force Nokia N81 as there primary gaming device, and therefore it will be exclusively offered for N81 to gain popularity and reputation of this phone.

The previous N810 unboxing video was awesome because of the Sountrack the guy used, this one is awesome because the producer uses an awesome camcorder to get insane amounts of detail. WOM World, the PR Firm Nseries Hires that speaks exclusively to bloggers, recommended this video and I’m in full on agreement. There is also a 2 part video (1 and 2) done by the same guy where he compares the N810 to the N800. Personally I always thought the 770 was more handsome than the N800, but the N810 is clearly the new hottie on the block:

We thought it a little odd that an “exploding” cellphone battery could inflict the kind of physical damage that killed that South Korean quarry worker, who we only know as Seo (his last name). Broken ribs and spine aren’t the type of injuries we’d expect from a faulty mobile phone’s battery. And, with this breaking news, LG has been vindicated (and their assertion of the impossibility of an exploding mobile phone battery has been corroborated). It seems that Seo was not killed by his LG mobile phone’s battery, but rather by his co-worker’s drilling machine. The co-worker, identified only by his surname, Kwon, confessed today that he backed the drilling rig into Seo. He admitted to having fabricated the “exploding cellphone.” Kwon told Min Kang-gi, a detective in Chungju, that he used the cellphone battery as a diversion to throw off investigators.

What Nokia N95 can do besides giving you the communication function and the 5.0-megapixel shooter? Do you all know that the N95 has a built-in accelerometer sensor? This is what it can do, controlling an RC car. Andreas Jakl and Stephan Selinger have launched a ShakerRacer project which enabled RC car to be controlled via Nokia N95 using the sensor. They modified the RC car to accept Bluetooth instead of the proprietary wireless module which an RC car came with, and they also add in a microcontroller. On the mobile phone, a Python script translates the input of the acceleration sensor to commands the microcontroller in order to manage the steering servo and the main motor. Check out the demonstration after the jump.
